This part of the site will provide details of what's happening around Bright at particular times of the year, and will also let you know what is new at Milesaway Cottage.

All who stay at Milesaway have commented positively on the cleanliness and value offered. There are great facilities which we aim to keep adding to as we stay there too.

For instance, the "library" has been extended to include new books, some magazines, board-games, DVD's, jigsaw puzzles, chess, draughts and backgammon. There are also a few toys - the kids seem to love getting their hands on something different, and our kids really enjoy playing with old favourites when we get the chance to visit Milesaway.

Recently completed: the wet areas have been redesigned to provide an ADDITIONAL toilet and vanity for extra convenience. We have also increased the bath size and provided an unlimited hot water system for the shower. The net result is an even more flexible home design for you to enjoy.   We hope you like the changes!  

Spring is an enjoyable time to be in Bright.  The evenings are starting to lengthen, and we all know that the lovely flowers that Bright is renowned for will be starting to bloom.   The cosy wood heater at Milesaway Cottage can still be useful  though .  It's a great time to visit this beautiful place, with the emphasis on FOOD, wine and FUN!  Visit the newly opened Bright Brewery for a cleansing ale.  It's an easy walk from Milesaway.
